Job Summary

A Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a facility by performing a variety of cleaning tasks. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing spaces to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for employees, customers, and visitors. Cleaners must follow safety guidelines and ensure that all assigned areas are kept spotless.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Sanitizing:
  • • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in designated areas.
  • • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
  • • Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
  • • Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Restocking & Replenishing:
  • • Replenish supplies in bathrooms and kitchens (e.g., soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
  • • Refill cleaning products and equipment as needed.
• Special Cleaning Tasks:
  • • Perform deep cleaning tasks as required, such as carpet cleaning, polishing floors, or cleaning blinds.
  • • Clean and maintain specific equipment or tools used for cleaning.
• Safety & Maintenance:
  • • Follow health and safety regulations when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • • Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs (e.g., broken fixtures, leaking faucets).
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored properly and safely.
• General Duties:
  • • Respond promptly to any emergency cleaning requests.
  • • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the premises.
  • Follow a cleaning schedule and complete tasks within the allotted time.
